Monday 7th - Friday 11th December
The children of Key Stage 2 had their annual Christmas concert in St Nicholas' Church. They retold the story of the nativity through a selection of traditional carols and readings. We recorded some of the children's singing and will post it on this site in the next week or so for you to download. A big thankyou to Mr Gouge and Miss Hammerton for all their hard work in putting the production together over the last few weeks. The children really 'raised the roof' and got us all in the Christmas spirit.
We had our Christmas Fayre on Friday evening. There were snowmen and presents a plenty, and it snowed! Well, only whilst the snow machine was on, but it set the scene extremely well, as did the cold weather. The children got to meet Father Christmas and had an absolutely fantastic time. The whole event was a huge success. A great many thanks to the FWPS for all their hard work.
Next week, our last before we break up for Christmas, appears to be just as busy, with Christmas parties, Christmas dinner, a pantomime, the Christmas service in the church, and a trip for Years 1 and 2 to the Brewhouse Theatre.
