We had an exciting and sporty day on Friday, led by the Year 6 Sports Captains. Towards the end of last term, some of the Year 6 children had the idea of raising money to go towards the rebuilding of the play equipment in Wells that was the victim of arson. You may well have seen it in the press. In order to raise funds they organised a whole-school mufti day, where the children could come in to school wearing sports clothing. They put together a programme of sports related activities for the children from each class to undertake through the day. A big well done to our Sports Captains for all their hard work and for trying to do their bit for our community.

Next week, on Thursday, Year 2 are visiting the Haynes Motor Museum - we look forward to hearing all about it. On Friday, West Pennard FC are playing Brookside (away). On Monday Hey Magazine are in, so if your child has any certificates or achievements, in school or out, that they wish to share, then please bring them in.
