On Wednesday morning we had the opening of our new library and music room by Michael Eavis. Michael, along with the enormous contribution of the FWPS and that made by the school, enabled the room to be built and we are sure you will all agree with us when we say a huge thank you to Michael and all those in the FWPS for all their help!
On Tuesday we were treated to a wonderful retelling of the Christmas story through traditional carols, readings and some excellent acting by our Year 6 children. They were supported by the children in the singing by the rest of Key Stage 2 and everybody really got in the Christmassy spirit as a result. A huge effort goes in to making the performance such a special occasion and a great many thanks needs to be placed at the doors of Miss Hammerton and Mr Gouge for working so tirelessly to perfect the singing and polish some of the acting! A big well done to all the children in Key Stage 2 and a Merry Christmas to one and all.
