30th November - 4th December 2009

On Tuesday the choir went to Wells Cathedral to take part in the annual Christmas carol concert. They had a fantastic time singing a number of songs they had learnt over the weeks running up to the concert as well as several traditional Christmas carols. A great many thanks to Mr Gouge and the choir for all their hard work!

Throughout the week, the infants have been busy rehearsing for their Christmas production of 'Rock Around the Flock'. They had their final dress rehearsal in front of Key Stage 2 on Friday afternoon and will perform to parents on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

The merit badges this week were awarded to Charlie O, Alex, Alfie, Riley, Naomi and Phoebe. The playground class of the week was Year 2. Handwriters of the month were Lewis, Jackie, Tabitha and Alex L. 50 team point certificates went to Daniel, Lizzie, Joe, Ryan and 100 team points for Charlotte. The good sitters during assembly were Charlotte, Tabitha, William and Harvey. Also in assembly, we were shown a fantastic animation made by the children of Class 2. The juniors' carol service will be held on Friday at 2:00pm and the Christmas Fayre at 6pm that evening.
