On Tuesday 4th May Class 4
were visited by Good King Hal, AKA Henry VIII. They had a fantastic time
learning about Henry and some of the reasons for , and results of, all his
'chopping and changing'. They learned about every day life in Tudor times, and
about some of the punishments given to 'wrong-doers'. The day culminated in a
jousting competition. A great many thanks to Mike Farley, and to the FWPS for
supporting such an enriching experience!
The students of the week this week
were Ruby, Megan, Amber, Freddy, Scarlet, William and Daniel. The playground
class of the week was Reception Class. Handwriters of the month for April were
Nia, Henry, Louis, Charlie, Chantelle, Sophie and Emily. Well done to all those
children.
Christian Aid Week is next week. We are going to have a cake, biscuits and buns sale after school on Monday 10th May. We would like to invite the children to make a cake to be sold on the day . All proceeds will go to Christian Aid.
