On Monday, the new Reception Class began their first full week at West Pennard. They had a fantastic week and have all settled in extremely well - as you can see from the photo above.

On Wednesday it was 'No Pen Day' for some of the classes in the school. The teachers and children were encouraged to think of other ways of communicating their understanding and some were quite inventive!

On Thursday four children from Year 4 went to a Maths puzzle day at the Blue School, Wells. They had a brilliant time solving various logic puzzles and testing their mathematical abilities against children from other schools.

Due to the amount of people nationally that have been registering their teams for the Schools FL fantasy league this year (as it is free), they have had to delay the start of the season. It will now take place after the internationals - around the 15th Oct, so if you haven't yet registered a team there is still time to do so. See the scrolling text above.
