Year 4 went to the Nothe Fort in Weymouth on Monday as part of their work on WW2. They all dressed up in 1940s style clothing and had a marvellous time, despite the weather. Many thanks to Mrs Buckley, Mrs Bonnar, Mrs Eaglesome, Mrs Ives, Mr Warburton and Mrs Knock for helping on the day.

On Tuesday, John, our former caretaker, came to say farewell to the children. We had a special assembly and the children all shared special memories of John. A great many thanks to John for all his hard work over the last eight years. He is greatly missed.

This week the merit badges were awarded to Lewis, Oscar, Henrietta, Oliver, Ken and Jake F. The playground class of the week was Year 5. The Headteacher's certificate was given to Bethany. Joe, Charlie and Dominic received fitness awards. Good sitters were Noah, Xia, Oscar E and Hugo.
