On Monday Year 4 visited the SS Great Britain as part of their work on Isambard Kingdom Brunel. They explored the ship and the museum and even had the opportunity to handle artifacts from the ship in a teaching session during the day. The children had a marvellous time! Many thanks to all the parents that came along to help!

On Tuesday and Wednesday it was Parents' Evening. The parents had the opportunity to talk to their child's class teacher and discuss their progress so far this term. We held it this year for the first time in our new building and the parents were ushered in by children from Year 6. They did a wonderful job and proved excellent representatives of the school!

On Friday it was Year 6s Squash and Biscuits. The afternoon had a Greek theme and the children of each class got to play some of the games that the Year 6s had designed.

Next week is Global Arts Week in school. The children will start the week focusing on the artwork of a particular artist and there will be a number of visitors to the school to provide an enriching week!
