Year 6 arrived back from their residential in Shropshire having had an excellent time. They went canoeing, built rafts and had a go at archery and abseiling. Many thanks to Mr Gouge, Mrs Leigh and Mrs McDonagh who went along to help.

On Wednesday we were visited by Ian and Laura from Heart FM. They had heard how delicious the school meals are at West Pennard and came along for the morning to see for themselves. They were very impressed. Many thanks to Karen and Mandy for the delicious meals they make for us each and every day in school!!!!

The merit badges were awarded to James, Ellis, Olly, Maisy, Tabitha, Nia, Lizzy and Ben this week. The playground class of the week was Class 4.

Next week, the final one before half term, looks like a busy one. We have our 'School Days' filming on Monday. Class 4 are going to Portsmouth Historical Dockyard on Wednesday to see the objects that were found on board the Mary Rose. Class 1 have their Squash and Biscuits on Friday
